1. The Gist (TL;DR)
RedditMCP is an open-source project designed to search Reddit without the clutter. We do not track you. We do not use cookies for ads. We do not store your search history on any server.
Your search query is sent to our server solely to fetch data from Reddit, and then it is immediately forgotten.
2. Data Collection
- Personal Information: We do not collect names, emails, IP addresses, or phone numbers.
- Search Data: Search queries are processed in-memory to retrieve results and are not persisted in any database.
- Analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixels, or any tracking scripts.
3. Third-Party Services
This application relies on the Reddit API to fetch content. When you make a search, Reddit Inc. receives that request. Their data handling is governed by their own policy.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use Local Storage (on your device) only to remember your UI preferences (like sort order). This data never leaves your browser.
